The longer we live in our house, the more I enjoy vintage style of all kinds. This poor July baby is going to be subject to it all.

I love these two rooms for a little one and plan on copying some elements. Mostly I'll be using a lot of toys and furniture we already have, which is easy on the wallet! And there are so many beautiful little things on Etsy I want to buy.
What is it about old stuff I suddenly love so much? Maybe because I'm getting older and nostalgia is creeping in...or have there been so many disposable, plastic, junky things in my life that I'm craving pieces with a little more staying power? Either way, it sure is fun having Pyrex friends on Instagram, pouring over antiques on Etsy and following vintage lovers on Pinterest.
That second room is just so beautiful. I love the black chalkboard wall and that stunning armchair... (and that cabinet!)
